The death count gone up to 5,28,007 with 16 fatalities, along with 7 deaths accustomed by Kerala.
The active cases comprise 0.12% of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.69%, the health ministry said.

Chhattisgarh on Monday reported 126 COVID-19 cases at a positivity rate of 1.73 per cent, taking the tally to 11,74,256, while the death count remained unchanged at 14,114, an official said.
The recovery count rose by 27 and touched 11,59,323, leaving the state with 819 active cases, he said.
"Raipur led with 33 cases, followed by 11 in Durg, 10 in Surgujia, among other districts. No coronavirus case was reported from six districts," he added.
The overall coronavirus tests conducted in the state was 1,84,89,297, including 7,292 during the day, the official said.
TAMILNADU:
TN on Monday recorded 463 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the caseload to 35,71,030.
The death numbers remained at 38,036 as no fatalities were reported today, according to a bulletin from the State health department.
A total of 35,28,004 COVID-19 positive patients were discharged following treatment so far and this includes 483 who recovered today.
The active cases declined to 4,990 from 5,010 a day ago.
Among the districts, Chennai, Coimbatore and Chengalpattu recorded a maximum of 82, 62 and 26 cases respectively.
WEST BENGAL:
West Bengal on Monday recorded 89 new COVID-19 cases pushing the tally to 21,07,977, a health department bulletin said.
The COVID-19 death count rose to 21,475 as two more persons succumbed to the disease, it said.
A total of 5,057 samples were tested on the day with a positivity rate of 1.76 per cent, the bulletin said.
The state currently has 2,002 active COVID-19 cases while 20,84,500 people have recovered from the disease, including 255 during the day.
The COVID-19 recovery rate now is 98.89 per cent.
Bengal had reported 181 new COVID-19 cases and one death on Sunday.
A total of 2,63,27,898 samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far.
GUJARAT:
Gujarat on Monday reported 113 COVID-19 cases, which took the state's tally to 12,71,178, a health official said.
The death numbers remained unchanged at 11,016, while the recovery count increased by 192 and touched 12,58,819, he added.
The state currently has an active caseload of 1,343, the official said.
